I was just looking up some Hunter of Avalar stuff on the internet (Because Hunter's been one of my favorite characters from the Legend of Spyro games!) and I found this!:

From what I've read, it's supposed to be somewhere around the last 3 games. So, I'm excited to see Hunter in 3D!
